Meet Daniela Parker, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. As the founder and owner of Parker Solutions, Daniela brings her wealth of knowledge and expertise to help risk professionals, small business owners, and organizations become more resilient, take on risk in a calculated fashion, and create opportunity.

 

Daniela Parker's successful career in the financial services industry began at US Bank, where she gained valuable experience and insights into the workings of the banking world. However, it was her tenure at TwinStar Credit Union in Olympia, WA that proved to be a defining moment in her professional journey. During her time at TwinStar, Daniela held a range of key positions, including Division Manager, AVP Branch Operations, and Chief Risk Officer. It was in this last role that Daniela discovered her true calling and excelled in the field of risk management.

 

Her passion for her profession continued while serving as both Chief Risk Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Resource One Credit Union in Dallas, TX, where she successfully blended her passion for risk management with operational expertise. This experience allowed her to develop a holistic approach, integrating risk mitigation strategies with operational efficiencies and process improvement.

Daniela's passion for risk and resilience is downright contagious, and her spark ignites operational excellence and help organizations thrive in the face of uncertainty.

Daniela's academic qualifications and certifications are impressive, with a Master of Science Degree in Business Continuity, Risk, and Security from Boston University, as well as CUNA’s Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert Certification and Certified Business Continuity Professional (DRI) credentials. Daniela has also spoken at numerous events, including MIT's Advanced Business Resiliency Program, and is a class facilitator in Boston University's Graduate Risk Management Program.
